This statement discloses the Ossidian privacy policy, including what type of information is gathered and tracked from our web site, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared. Our privacy practices are designed to provide protection for your personal information. In general, you can visit the Ossidian site without telling us who you are and without giving any personal information.


You may choose to disclose personal information in certain situations. For example, you may wish to give us information, such as your name and address or e-mail address, to correspond with you, to process an order, or to provide you with a subscription to our eLearning Center. You may give us credit card details to purchase eLearning or a description of your education and work experience in connection with a job vacancy.

Third parties

To help us fulfil certain specific requests, we may share information with, for example, business partners, financial institutions, credit card processors, shipping companies, postal authorities, government authorities or others involved in order fulfilment. We may also contact you as part of our customer satisfaction process or for market research. The information you provide to us will not be passed to third parties other than any necessary information passed to approved agents or distributor channels of Ossidian in order to satisfy your requests for service. Credit card data are not retained by Ossidian on completion of a purchase transaction.


In connection with a job application or inquiry, whether advertised on our site or not, you may provide us with information about yourself, such as a resume or curriculum vitae. We may use this information for the purpose of employment consideration or to satisfy your inquiry. Except where you tell us not to, we will retain the information for possible future consideration.


We intend to protect your personal information and to maintain its quality. We implement appropriate measures and processes, such as using encryption when transmitting certain sensitive information, to help us to keep your information secure.


We may sometimes collect non-identifiable information from visitors to our Web site to help us provide better customer service. For example, we may keep track of the domains from which people visit, and we may also measure visitor activity on Ossidian Web sites, but we keep the information non-identifiable. Ossidian or others on Ossidian’s behalf may use this data to analyze trends and statistics and to help us provide better customer service. Also, when we collect personal data from you in a transaction, we may extract some information about that transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information. This information is used to improve our services and is analyzed only at an aggregate level to understand trends and patterns.


Registered users of Ossidian’s eLearning Center are assigned a User ID and Password. We track details of every eLearning session including the individual User ID, session date and time, host name (where available), IP address (where available) and eLEarning module accessed. Additionally you may elect to or be required to take on-line tests on the eLearning Center. Test results may be stored on our databases. None of this information is disclosed to third parties. Please be aware that, where your employer is the contracting party, this information may be provided to a designated person as required by agreement with your employer.


Please be aware that in certain circumstances, it is possible that personal information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to taxation, judicial or other government orders, subpoenas, summonses or warrants.


Ossidian Web sites may contain links to other Web sites. Ossidian is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those other Web sites.
